I just ran across a cool new feature of Time Warner Austin's iControl Video On Demand service: free "rentals" of all the major speeches at the Democratic National Convention. Just turn to channel 1001 and scroll over to the Election 2004 menu to access the speeches if you have digital cable. You can fast forward and rewind too, which gives me an idea about a preferable way to watch highlights from the Republican Convention without enduring too much pain...
