I felt a little bit let down earlier this week when I discovered that the war on Iraq has, actually, already begun. I knew that we had troops inside their borders but I didn't know that we'd already begun dropping bombs and killed five people.
I went to an interesting talk by Rahul Mahajan earlier this week where he suggested that it's important to keep public attention on the number of casualties as a way of creating pressure to minimize "collateral damage". I think he's got a point. As such, I present to you, the Iraq Body Count bar (see bottom of page).
