12, 424 is the record-breaking number of voters we managed to register during yesterday's voter registration marathon.
Seth and I worked a table at 7th and Rio Grande from 6-10pm last night and had a steady stream of people registering the entire time we were there, despite the torrential downpour. We had several reports that the registration table at the Albertson's on Stassney Lane was registering 200 people an hour.
Kudos to the folks at austinforchange.com for organizing a successful event.
